Agenda
Is this still a good time to talk? --Thanks again for taking the time to chat with me today. The agenda for today is mainly to get to know each other. You can ask my anything you like as well, and I'll tell you a bit more about Gideon from my perspective being more in operations.
Can you give me an overview of your background, your current lifestyle – family & work life, how you got to this place in your life?
How do you measure your quality of life? You can describe either what a GOOD quality of life (a successful life)
looks like for you or conversely, what a POOR one looks like. How would owning a Gideon franchise fit in with this? Are there other benefits in your mind of opening a Gideon center? Trying to get into the true motivations, i.e. take care of my family, etc. Can you tell me more about that?
Things to Know About Gideon
I want to share some things that I really want you to know about Gideon. Boston may have already shared much of this with you. If we are sharing it more than once, it must be really important for you to know about us.
Culture
We are a relationship business, first. We focus on the Students First and Profits Second. While we want you to have an easily scalable business that you enjoy, you must provide real benefit to the students.
Corporate Vision
Our goal is to serve our franchisees to be successful in a work-life balance while they enable children to succeed in school by filling in any holes and gaps in their foundation. Our reputation of giving true success to families is paramount. We are looking for QUALITY owners over a large QUANTITY of owners.
When You Call Franchisees
When you get in touch with our franchisees (from the list in the back of the FDD), here are some of things you'll hear from them:
---Excellent curriculum that gets results – still improving and adding,
---easy system to follow,
---responsive support from corporate – just send a quick email,
---fun working with children,
---great balance with rest of life
However, all franchisors face this same issue: people want a silver bullet for marketing.
It’s more like a recipe than a silver bullet ingredient. Typically marketers agree there is no silver bullet. We work a lot of different angles: mailers, PeachJar flyers, Google ads, FB ads, Nextdoor, Local SEO. The good news once the clients come in and you do the system properly, they are usually quite happy to recommend you to friends and family.
